Ukraine was the first in the world to develop and implement uranium mining technology through in-situ leaching. This work was carried out by specialists of the geological enterprise “Kirovgeologiya” in the late 50s – early 60s of the last century. Since that time and up to the 80s, two deposits were developed in Ukraine: Devladovskoe and Bratskoe. And now, 30 years later, the country is returning to this method of uranium mining, the most environmentally friendly and most economically efficient in the world.
The development of deposits that are extracted using this technology is a decisive reserve for fulfilling the tasks set in the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035, namely, increasing the increase in uranium production and its own uranium resource base to provide Ukrainian nuclear power plants with its own raw materials.
We also fulfill this task thanks to the government’s communication policy to attract international strategic and financial investors to the market.
